Distributed Ledger Technologies

ICDLT 2026 is the flagship conference of the IEEE Blockchain Technical Community — the 2nd edition, held in Alcobaça, Portugal. It brings together researchers, engineers, and practitioners working on the full stack of distributed ledger technologies.

Blockchain is enabling secure decentralization across digital finance, IoT, cyber-physical systems, and federated learning. ICDLT 2026 is the venue to present novel contributions in theory, systems, protocols, and real-world applications. Accepted papers will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore® subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.

Accepted papers will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore® subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements. Non-presented papers will not be published.

We take plagiarism and scientific rigour seriously. All submissions are screened for plagiarism and assessed for originality and methodological soundness in accordance with IEEE publication ethics policies.

Any use of AI-generated content (text, figures, images, or code) must be disclosed in the acknowledgements section, identifying the system used and the sections affected, per IEEE guidelines. The Program Committee reserves the right to exclude any submission from consideration or publication at any stage if signals of undisclosed AI-generated work, plagiarism, or any conduct inconsistent with IEEE standards are detected.

Registration

Hybrid event (in-person + virtual). Authors of accepted papers must register and pay fees to ensure publication. Registration details to be announced.

Only registered and presented papers will be considered for publication in IEEE Xplore. Non-presented papers will not be considered for inclusion in the proceedings.
